Hello, my name is...

So, I was thinking, since I don't know most of my readers, and I would like to, would you please leave a comment here and introduce yourself? You don't have to, but I would love it if you did, and maybe just told me something about yourself...

Yeah, I found through TCG, but you and I know that our history goes back much further than that.

What will people think? ;-)

I'm Renee from Channahon, IL...came here from TCG, which Cristina pointed me to.

I too have a blog, but much rather read other people's blogs...I have two little girls that keep me busy and reading blogs in my down time!

Well, it would appear that you have The Checkout Girl to thank for quite a few of your followers.

I'm Dan, another Richmonder, and WxDan on Twitter.

Hi!

Hi. I'm Matt. I'm an alcoholic. Wait. No, I'm not. I'm a reader of your blog. I would like to say I discovered you through my own insight and searches for fun embalmer stories, but I found you through TCG as well.
It appears that most of your readers are from the Richmond region, so, like it or not, you're one of us now.
I have a blog in which I discuss the fun side of unemployment and I like to eat tacos and other foodstuffs that will one day cause me to be lying on your embalmers table. That is, if I move out west to where ever you are.

Matt -
with, or without, tacos you'll probably end up on somebody's embalming table.

I found you through the Checkout Girl too! I'm Melissa, also in Richmond. I'm an engineer and I like taking my dog to the river and spending too much time online.

Hi, I'm TheCheckoutGirl. Apparently my friends love you. I don't blame them. I love you, too. They made me an honorary Richmonder and now I am making you one. Thank you for sharing your stories!

i found you through TCG, also. currently in richmond until the end of the week--then your readership will expand to the a larger and much more violent (murder per capita) metropolitan area than richmond could ever hope to be.:)

I was cruising through the little thingamajig with the links at the top of most blogs that says "Next Blog" and finally found one that linked to something in English. So here I am. As soon as I find out what TCG is, I am going to take some because it sounds like it might be some pretty good stuff.
You sure seem to have a lot of followers from Richmond. I'm from Emeryville, which is just a little bit closer to Oakland.

Hi! I'm from North Carolina (which is right under Virginia), and I'm a phlebotomist. I mainly travel around to nursing homes to draw blood from patients, so I love your post about chillin in the car. I mean, I'm pretty much used to nasty smells by now, but I still don't understand how an ENTIRE building can be permanently urine-scented.
Anyway, I find the restorative art posts especially interesting.
I also like good beer.

Yo hi from Baltimore, MD. I say yo cause I once read that the slang term Yo actually originated right here in Bmore and so I am proud of it and stuff. But what do we know, we also saw bulled egg [egg cooked in water], tawlet [toilet] and Ball Mer [Baltimore]). Oh and Baltimore is also home to John Waters and that's cool too.

Bit about me: Blog addicted, Twitter crazed, film obsessed, design enamored, and photography loving. Live with THE Cat who talks a lot and not much else and THE Hubby who speaks German writes software and designs. Worked in publishing and marketing and then got canned [laid off] and now work for ME.

You can find me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/awessendorf

"Read" my blog (often just pictures but sometimes I yadda too): http://www.skybluepink.com

Or visit my other blog where I post random black and white pictures of cool people saying cool things: http://blindmenandanelephant.blogspot.com/

Found your blog this way..Tremendous News-->David G. Garcia---> YOU (but I did spot you over on TCG also).

Nice to meet you! I've got you all hooked up in my feedly so as not to miss any of your posts.

Hi! I'm from Nebraska (you've probably never heard of it). We are smack in the middle of the U.S. I also found you through TCG. I am seeing someone who is a funeral director/embalmer and am fascinated. Thanks for letting us have a "peek" into the funeral industry!

Midwestern boy here. Retired RN & Episcopal minister who always wanted to be a 'belly puncher' (trocar reference). Have read all the books but never had the balls to go to mort sci school. Absolutely, positively entranced by embalming and restorative art.

Well, I finally broke down and started my own blog so as I's have something other than itinerant links to reference.
Don't expect to find out much more about me than what you already know.

Hi my name is Heather, aka MercGirl. I have wanted to be a mortician for many years but have never taken the necessary steps (ie school.) I found your blog through the Check Out Girl and just read all of your post and throughly enjoyed them. Thank you!
